Video Literacy 2004 onwards
Inspired by the experience of running a scheme Video Letters to WSF, where young people with little infrastructure sent video messages to the World Social Forum, we started this programme to make video an accessible and common language for community activism. Under this programme a niche group of people are provided elementary training in Video and then helped in creating a video essay on their own lives. The material thus evolved becomes a part of the video footage archive.
